Every Action is War, Every Conversation is Politics -- So what about Art? -- On the Simulation of Ethics in the Interpol Experience
Jan Åman
Abstract:
I will discuss Interpol -- a art network between Stockholm to Moscow -- and, focusing on the the former East and West, how different systems of language and culture confronted each other within this network. This confrontation, in the end, brought out a very complex and confusing picture of the state of todays society where reality and fiction, media and art seem very blurred. How do you talk about art, about ethics, or even about politics - in such a situation?
