Strange, we were just talking about this sort of
on Art Dirt today with John Hopkins
in terms of his project called "The center of the
Universe". There are images that seem to hail a
response from a great number of viewers and I'm
interested in using those. Those images seem to
be related to the body or to the home and that may
mean something but I'm not certain what.
In general I've become interested in manifestos as
opposed to theory or some kind of outside reference.
Manifestos do not require footnotes.
The current article on Sherry Turkle in WIRED (April 1996)
is very interesting and I'll pick up her book
"Life on Screen" and comment on it in a further post.
